Associate Attorney

Litigation Associate – Data Privacy & Complex Litigation Our client, a nationally recognized plaintiff-side litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco office, with a particular focus on data privacy and complex class action litigation. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who wants substantial responsibility early in their career and the chance to work on high-impact litigation. Associates play significant roles in all phases of cases and work closely with clients, experts, and senior litigators on sophisticated matters with nationwide significance. Responsibilities Participate in all phases of complex litigation, with an emphasis on data privacy matters and class action Investigate potential claims and assist with case development and strategy Work directly with clients and maintain ongoing client relationships Take and defend depositions Draft and argue motions and other substantive filings Conduct legal research and prepare briefs at both trial and appellate levels Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation Assist with trial proceedings and other case-related advocacy efforts Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Strong interest in complex litigation and data privacy matters Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities Ability to manage significant responsibilities and work collaboratively within a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality legal work Preferred Experience Prior litigation experience, including motion practice and discovery Experience or demonstrated interest in: Data privacy litigation Complex commercial or public-interest litigation Why This Opportunity Our client offers attorneys the opportunity to take on meaningful litigation responsibilities and work on precedent-setting cases.
