Behavioral Health Assessor

Role The Behavioral Health Assessor-Licensed conducts comprehensive face-to-face and tele-mental health assessments for patients with psychological, behavioral, or substance-related disturbances. Responsibilities Includes patient assessments, suicide risk evaluations, collaborating with healthcare teams, developing care and safety plans, coordinating discharge and referrals, and documenting all interactions accurately in electronic records. Qualifications Requires a Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, valid licensure (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LCSW), and a minimum of 3 years experience working with adult or child populations, especially in behavioral health. Skills Effective communication, critical thinking, knowledge of behavioral health best practices, proficiency in technology (Word, Excel, telemedicine tools), and the ability to work across various sites.
