Pet Care Specialist – Part-Time (Potential for Full-Time)
Lucky Dog Pet Resort – Nipomo, CA

Do you love dogs (and maybe a few cats too)? Have you ever thought about working at a fun, fast-paced pet resort where your passion for animals actually matters?

We’re currently hiring Pet Care Specialists to join our team at Lucky Dog Pet Resort. This is a hands-on, physical job that plays a huge role in making sure every pet in our care is healthy, safe, and loved.

Whether you’re experienced in pet care or just getting started, we’re willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a love for animals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing daily care for dogs and cats; feeding, monitoring behavior, playing, and loving on them.
• Cleaning kennels, pens, yards, and facility areas (yes, poop scooping is part of the job).
• Bathing and brushing dogs.
• Administering medications and monitoring health signs.
• Supporting our leads and working as part of a fast-moving team.
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and happy environment for every pet that walks through our doors.

What We’re Looking For:

• People who love animals and feel confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Team players who communicate well and jump in to help without being asked.
• Individuals who can adapt quickly, things can move fast here!
• People who take initiative, stay focused, and have a positive attitude, even on busy days.
• Experience in pet care is a huge plus, but not required; we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Shift & Schedule:

• 6 to 8-hour day shifts.
• Must be available some weekends and holidays (we’re a pet resort, pets don’t take days off).
• Part-time and full-time positions available.
