Fleet Operations Coordinator

Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Duration: 3+ Months

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fleet Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day fleet operations. This role will help ensure vehicles, equipment, documentation, and fleet records are organized, compliant, and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable coordinating with multiple teams, managing administrative tasks, and communicating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily fleet operations, including maintenance scheduling, documentation, and compliance tracking.
Assist with vehicle tracking, transfers, and maintaining accurate fleet databases and records.
Coordinate fleet-related projects and identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve fleet-related questions and issues.
Prepare reports and monitor fleet usage and operational trends.
Assist with basic administrative and field-support tasks as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure information is updated in relevant systems.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, and administrative systems.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
Prior experience in fleet operations, logistics, transportation, administration, or a related field is a plus.
