Nursing Supervisor Emergency Nursing

Schedule: 36 hours, 12-hour night shifts

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or willingness to obtain
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state or authorization to practice pending licensure by endorsement
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP within 6 months of hire
• Minimum 4 years of acute care experience
• Experience in emergency care required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise the hospital and coordinate age-appropriate patient care activities in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing.
• Manage nursing care activities within nursing services in the absence of Unit Directors.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission and values of the organization.
• Demonstrate leadership skills with strengths in communication, organization, conflict management, and problem-solving.
• Function independently and respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations.
