Process Technician

Job Description Pallidus, Inc., is a fast-growing producer of large diameter Silicon Carbide wafers for high power and high frequency semiconductor applications in Transportation, Green Energy, Telecommunication, and Industrial markets. Process Technician 1st Shift (6AM-6PM) AND 2nd Shift (6PM-6AM) Positions Available

SCOPE

Process Technicians will assist in factory set up and execute basic manufacturing procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate processing equipment including ovens, furnaces, grinders, and polishers. Load and unload processing equipment. Use hand metrology tools, such as calipers and micrometers to take measurements. Handle chemicals (acids) and detergents utilized in the cleaning of the product. Utilize computers to enter data, track information, and communicate throughout the organization. Communicate with engineers/leads/supervisors on reporting faults & errors. Must read, understand and follow all safety procedures. Able to read and comprehend work instructions. Conduct routine maintenance on machines as needed. Complete quality paperwork including batch sheets, forms, and MES system inputs. Aid in training co-workers on familiar tasks. Provide feedback on quality, help implement improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED. Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred. Must be able to reliably meet shift schedule requirements. Be an active team member that helps set the direction, culture, and success of Pallidus. Willingness to learn new machines & processes at any given time. Able to work in a team setting as well as alone. Being a self-starter is encouraged. Other relevant experience can include machining, assembly line work, general manufacturing or warehouse. Computer literacy and/or general knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel. Must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S. to meet Export Control requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift, push and pull 45 lbs. Must be able to stand, sit, reach, bend, and squat for 12-hour shifts. Salary range Starting rate: $25/hour; $2 shift differential for 2nd shift #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
