The Manager will oversee a staff of roughly 10-15 FTEs, with leadership support from experienced Nurse Supervisors and Educators, ensuring the PACU Nurse Manager can optimize patient flow, recovery excellence, and team engagement across Surgical Services.

The Nurse Manager Pre-Op and Post-Op will report to the Director of Perioperative Services and collaborate closely with anesthesia, the operating room leadership team, case management, and infection prevention, while enjoying robust support from educators, quality specialists, and friendly nurses who reflect the diverse, multilingual community the hospital serves; responsibilities for the Nurse Manager Pre-Op and Post-Op include staffing and scheduling, throughput and capacity management from pre-admission testing to PACU discharge, competency validation, evidence-based policy updates, regulatory readiness, budget stewardship, patient experience initiatives, and continuous improvement that empowers a collegial, high-reliability team.
