Busser PositionOur Bussers are relied on to provide memorable, thoughtful experiences through engaging with our guests, removing glassware with a smile, and anticipating the needs of each guest that visits us. No matter what position you start in with us, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained and will be encouraged to take on different positions within our team.A Busser, is in charge of setting and clearing tables at a dining establishment to provide a clean and tidy environment for restaurant patrons. Their duties include removing used dishes, re-setting silverware and filling beverages for diners.Duties/Responsibilities:A team player with a positive attitude.Quick and flexible learner.Attention to detail.Communication and collaboration skills.Working with hot foods and beverages.Welcome and connect with every guest, provide friendly and personable service.Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and restrooms.Learn and maintain knowledge of all our menus & products and demonstrate knowledge of dietary/allergy information and proper food handling.Accommodate requests from seated guests.Promptly clean tabletops, seating, and floors after each guest- Deliver food/drinks to seated guests.Handle varying levels of business volume with composure & a positive attitude.Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers.Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes.Driven and self-motivated.Maintain customer privacy, behave with open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Implement quality assurance standards and provide accurate feedback.Ensure performance, reliability, functionality, and compatibility is up to company standards.Patience and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.Performs other related duties as assigned.Enforce and follow health and safety precautions.Required Skills/Abilities:Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.Excellent verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Ability to frequently lift, move and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistance.Ability to sit, walk, climb up and down stairs repeatedly for extended periods of time.Constant standing and bending.Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment.Carry / handle heavy trays.
