Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed Travel to additional sites when required Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3 months (or more) of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Pass a standardized color‑blindness test Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation Minimum age: 21 years old Pay & Incentives Pay Range: $17.75 - $27.89 per hour All job offers are based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, and internal equity and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
