Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT)

Come be a part of a well-established hospital located just outside of Columbia, SC, to recruit a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) for a full-time weekday position. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing essential diagnostic testing, ensuring high-quality patient care, and working within a supportive team environment. Pay: $57,889 - $74,115 Schedule: Days - 3(12)s

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate and efficient specimen collection
• Conduct diagnostic testing across various departments, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control, documenting corrective actions, and making informed decisions on patient results
• Participate in competency testing, professional development activities, and in-service training sessions to maintain and enhance skills
• Utilize the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other relevant computer applications to manage and update patient data accurately

Requirements:

• Registered MLT/MT with valid credentials (ASCP, NCAMLP, AMT, ASMT, or equivalent), or eligible for certification within six months
• Proficiency in operating laboratory instruments and interpreting diagnostic test results
