Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety. Dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and pharmacy protocols. Monitor patients for potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and therapeutic concerns. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy. Provide drug information and clinical recommendations when needed. Ensure accurate medication preparation, dispensing, and documentation. Follow all applicable pharmacy, hospital, and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation. Support medication safety and quality-improvement initiatives. Provide professional and compassionate service to patients and the healthcare team. Work efficiently and independently during overnight hours. Job Details 13-week contract 40 hours per week Night shift Pharmacy Department Lodi, CA Excellent opportunity to gain valuable contract pharmacy experience Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree Minimum 1–2 years of recent hospital/acute-care pharmacy experience preferred Current BLS certification – if required by the facility Experience with medication order verification and dispensing Strong knowledge of medication safety, drug interactions, and clinical pharmacy practices Experience working with electronic medication/health records preferred Familiarity with hospital pharmacy systems and automated dispensing technology preferred Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions during night shifts Strong communication and collaboration skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr Talented Medical Solutions
