As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, certified by the Small Business Administration as a Small Disadvantaged Business, the company was founded to offer efficient, cost-effective information technology services to commercial and government clients.Job Content Key Responsibilities:Part of CST (Command & Staff Trainer) EXCONPreparation Phase:Support Planning & Coordinating of exercises by interacting with the SWORD software & explain to clients, CST Exercise Team leader / Role-players / Coaches the possibilities and limitations of the system to deliver what they want.Create, load and adapt SWORD scenarios (troops friend & enemy, MEL-MIL = Main Event List / Main Incident List, terrain)Test & improve the scenario until ready for trainingSupport User Training for the OperatorsExecution Phase:Support EXCON to run the Exercise by interacting with the SWORD software according to guidance of the CST Exercise Team leader / Role-players / Coaches / Core EXCON TeamSupport CST Exercise Team leader / Role-players / Coaches in interacting with the SWORD software, including observer mode & making notes for the debriefingSupport Users with SWORD manipulation issuesSupport Tech Team with solving IT issuesAfter Action Review Phase:Support CST Exercise Team leader / Role-players / Coaches in preparing and executing debriefingsProvide Lessons Learned Team with most relevant exercise observationsSupport Data Analyst in acquiring relevant data from exercisesGeneral:Conduct annual updates of the SWORD softwareSupport Battalion & Brigade planning efforts with SWORD software at Brigade or Battalion HQ, including wargaming & COA ComparisonSupport Competence Center Land in testing Tactics, Techniques and Procedures or the use of new weapon systemsSupport Competence Center Land in educating Company Commanders or Battalion and Brigade Planning Officers in planning and conducting a Combined Arms OperationMust have requirements:Former military Officer or NCO with Warfighter CAX User or Operator experienceAvailable & Able to work long days (7 to 22) for 5 to 10 consecutive days in a PC RoomSpeak English, French or DutchPreferred requirements:Former military Officer or NCO with Warfighter CAX Operator experienceExperience with Combined Arms TacticsSpeak English, French and DutchMilitary rank equivalent:NCO or OfficerMILVETS offers an excellent benefits package including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off.Applicants for U.S. based positions with MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
