Agile Scrum Master

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Local Candidates Only) Job Type: Long‑Term Contract Experience: 12+ Years Job Summary STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Agile Scrum Master on behalf of our client in Alpharetta, GA. This role is ideal for an experienced Agile professional who excels at leading Scrum teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and driving the successful delivery of technology initiatives. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, development teams, and Agile Coaches to foster continuous improvement, remove delivery impediments, and ensure predictable, high‑quality outcomes within a fast‑paced technology environment. Key Responsibilities Support Agile delivery across multiple technology initiatives. Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage product backlogs, prioritize work, and plan releases. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Track and communicate delivery progress, sprint metrics, risks, dependencies, and impediments. Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement. Identify delivery challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues effectively. Drive initiatives that improve team performance, collaboration, and delivery quality. Coordinate work across multiple development teams and supporting functions. Partner with Agile Coaches to enhance Agile maturity and best practices. Provide clear and timely project updates, recommendations, and status reporting to stakeholders. Required Qualifications 12+ years of overall IT experience. Strong experience serving as an Agile Scrum Master in enterprise environments. Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach Scrum teams. Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery frameworks. Experience managing backlogs, sprint planning, and delivery tracking. Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Demonstrated leadership and the ability to influence without direct authority. Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Experience supporting multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously. Must be a local candidate in the Alpharetta, GA area. Preferred Qualifications Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent Agile certification. Experience supporting Application Security or enterprise technology initiatives. Experience working with globally distributed teams. Expected Deliverables Successful facilitation of Agile ceremonies and consistent sprint execution. Well‑maintained product backlogs, Agile artifacts, and delivery metrics. Improved visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.Continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Agile maturity and team effectiveness.
