Store Environment Team Member – Temple, PA. Responsibilities Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards. Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they’re looking for. Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures. Dust and mop floors following approved procedures. Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and return products to correct placement. Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents according to specifications. Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high traffic areas. Keep cleaning equipment neat; notify supervisor of supply needs. Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor. Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers. Project a positive image and serve as a role model. Other Duties as Assigned Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards. Engage customers on rewards program and private label credit cards and complete enrollments. Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes. Support shrink and safety programs. Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance. Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to remain standing for long periods. Move throughout the store. Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or equipment. Work may include nights, weekends, early mornings. Work Environment Public retail store setting; climate controlled unless in stock rooms. Some outdoor work may be required. Usage of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals.
