Additional Requirements

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
• C1+ English level

Experience:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex data pipelines and ETL processes.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering.
• Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and database design.
• Strong experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Kafka.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.

Requirements:

• Strong database management skills, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes and tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Amazon Redshift, including cluster management, performance tuning, and optimizing data storage.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and architecture of scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions in the cloud.
2. Design, develop, and maintain scalable Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines utilizing various technologies.
3. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level data engineers, and lead data engineering projects.
4. Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and security.
5. Troubleshoot complex data-related problems and database errors.
6. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
7. Provide documentation as appropriate including design documentation.
8. Automate data workflows and processes.
9. Analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes.
10. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud and data engineering technologies and best practices.
