FSP Scientist, Particle Imaging

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Scientist to perform advanced diagnostic testing and analysis for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds. The role involves sample preparation, analytical instrumentation operation, data interpretation, and quality assurance in a laboratory environment supporting clinical research services.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex sample preparation and analysis procedures to measure pharmaceutical compounds in various formulations and biological matrices
• Set up, maintain, and operate analytical instrumentation; train team members on equipment operation and SOPs
• Review, interpret, and analyze data for technical accuracy, quality, and compliance with protocols and GMP/GLP standards
• Troubleshoot extraction and instrumentation problems independently or collaboratively
• Communicate project status to project leadership and address quality assurance findings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
• 2+ years relevant experience in analytical testing or laboratory work
• Proficiency with analytical techniques: HPLC, GC, MS, dissolution testing, or biopharmaceutical testing
• Demonstrated data interpretation and trend analysis abilities
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Problem-solving and independent method optimization skills
