Description:
The department is seeking an MRI Technologist.
The position includes 12-hour shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with Thursday night call.
The technologist will be responsible for imaging adults, geriatrics, and some pediatric patients through the ER.
The role involves performing MRI scans with sedation or general anesthesia.
The technologist will also conduct MRI on patients with conditional pacemakers and MRI breast scans.
This is a fast-paced department with a requirement for experience in CT and X-ray.
The position may involve covering additional areas as needed.
The department utilizes Siemens Espree, Siemens Trio, and GE Architect equipment.
The technologist will work with EMR software, specifically EPIC, and PACS software, specifically McKesson.
Weekend and holiday work is required, including call responsibilities.
Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care.
Additional time off requests must be submitted upfront and excessive requests will not be approved.
Candidates must comply with the radius rule and be aware of cancellation policies for shifts.
