Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (Tuesday-Saturday)

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday Full-time LADC; Daytime Hours Conduct comprehensive chemical health assessments; meeting Minnesota Statute 245Gstandards for referral recommendations and appropriate document completion in addition to adhering to the company policies and procedures Maintain all required correspondence with treatment facilities, child protection workers, probation officers, collateral contacts and managed care programs as applicable Complete funding approvals to support referral recommendations as necessary Perform facility intake duties with demonstrated competence in screening for and working with clients with co-occurring disorders Participate in weekly clinical supervision staff meetings See professional development and continue growth as a professional Maintain professional relationships including healthy boundaries with staff and clients Assist fellow clinicians with treatment plans and discharge summaries Provide support, de-escalate clients and intervention assistance in crisis situations Requirements and Qualifications: Licensure by the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in good standing OR a Temporary Permit by the State of Minnesota in good standing Knowledge of Minnesota Statute 245G, licensing and its application to the position Knowledge of 245Gdocumentation deadlines in relation to assessments, continuum of care, treatment planning and discharge summaries and the ability to maintain compliance Must successfully pass a DHSbackground study Must know and understand staff member responsibilities as well as all company policies and procedures Must know and understand the implications of client rights according to section 148F.165 Must know and understand the implications of 245G, 245A.65, 626.557, 626.5572, and Chapter 260E Health Insurance Vision Life Insurance Employer Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Nine Company Paid Holidays Casual Dress Company Paid CEU’s and License Renewal Ability to Commute: Ability to Relocate: Anoka, MN 55303: Relocate before starting work (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Riverplace Counseling Center
