Accounting Specialist

Accounting Specialist (Bilingual Korean Required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture\nand is seeking for an Accounting Specialist.\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounts Payable & Receivable\n * Process vendor invoices, match POs, and ensure timely payments.\n * Prepare and issue customer invoices; monitor collections and resolve payment\n discrepancies.\n * Maintain vendor and customer records in ERP/financial systems.\n\nGeneral Ledger & Reconciliation\n * Record daily journal entries and support monthly closing activities.\n * Perform bank, account, and intercompany reconciliations.\n * Assist in maintaining fixed asset and depreciation schedules.\n\nReporting & Analysis\n * Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.\n * Provide variance analysis against budget and prior periods.\n * Prepare supporting schedules for internal and external audits.\n\nCompliance & Controls\n * Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.\n * Support compliance with tax filings (sales/use tax, property tax, etc.).\n * Assist with SOX/IATF/ISO compliance as needed.\n\nCross-Department Collaboration\n * Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and HR for accurate accounting of\n expenses and payroll.\n * Respond to internal inquiries regarding payments, billing, and reporting.\n * Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.\n\nOther Duties\n * Participate in year-end audits and work with external auditors.\n * Assist Accounting Manager with budgeting and forecasting activities.\n * Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.\n\n\nQualifications\n * Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n required.\n * Experience: 2-4 years of accounting experience (manufacturing/automotive\n industry preferred).\n\nKnowledge/Skills:\n * Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ERP experience (SAP,\n Oracle, or similar) preferred.\n * Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.\n * Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.\n * Language: English required; Korean language skills a plus
