Location: University of Cincinnati Main Campus (Varsity Village) - Cincinnati, OH

Days On Site: 5 Days/Week (Monday-Friday)

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support UC Health's Student Health Pharmacy located on the University of Cincinnati Main Campus. This individual will work alongside a pharmacist in a lower-volume outpatient pharmacy environment serving the student population. The technician will be responsible for prescription fulfillment, customer service, inventory management, and day-to-day pharmacy operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy technician seeking a stable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays and the opportunity to convert to a full-time UC Health employee.

Must Haves

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician certification/licensure
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently + be flexible for higher volume days
• Experience working in a retail or outpatient pharmacy setting
• Comfortable working with a diverse patient/student population

Plusses

• Epic Willow Ambulatory experience - can train them on Epic if no experience
• Previous outpatient pharmacy experience
• Experience processing insurance claims
• Experience in a university or student health environment
• Healthcare system experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Enter and fill prescriptions
• Work directly with students and pharmacy customers
• Answer questions and assist patients at the pharmacy counter
• Handle insurance-related inquiries as needed
• Restock medications and maintain inventory
• Receive and organize pharmacy orders
• Work alongside one pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations
• Maintain excellent customer service and patient interactions
