Dishwasher
The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. The dishwasher works closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
- Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen (coffee makers, pots and pans, mixers, etc.)
- Unload and store deliveries
- Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled
- Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
- Follow proper sanitation procedures per local health department regulations
- Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
- Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic
- Maintain uniform standards when on job premises
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to verbally communicate in English
- Ability to run and move quickly
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Be organized and have excellent time-management skills
