Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Inpatient Rehab/Acute Care

Location: Oklahoma

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days, with flexible start times based on the unit.

Job Description: We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit or the Acute Care Unit. The Rehabilitation Unit averages 12 patients, and there are co-treatment options available with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) in Acute Care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients as per therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team for co-treatment sessions.
• Document patient progress and provide reports to supervising therapists.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current COTA license in the state of Oklahoma.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA.
• Skills checklist current within the last year, pertinent to the specialty.
• Two supervisory reference forms taken within the last two years.
• Recent traveler experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
