Position is Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, hours as needed. Located onsite at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Kodiak, Alaska!

Provides medical assistance to physicians and education to patients. Works cooperatively with clinic office personnel, patients and medical staff. Coordinates ancillary and pre-op services and the scheduling of surgical cases.

Required qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
• 1 year experience in a physician’s office or clinic

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
