Phlebotomist

Position Phlebotomist – Garner, NC Work Schedule Friday 7:30am – 6:30pm, Saturday 9am – 3pm, Sunday 9am – 1pm. Work on all weekends. Reliable transportation required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and timely; process billing and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 6 months’ or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Certification or training program must come from an accredited agency. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
