Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience, TX or compact RN license, and TNCC certification.

Job Details

• Intensive Care Unit setting with 24 plus 2 recovery beds,
• Critical care patient population,
• Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2,
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,
• 13-week assignment,
• No on-call requirements,
• No 48-hour or block scheduling,
• Float required to HVU and PCU units at a 1:4 ratio,
• Uses MedHost EMR, currently transitioning to Cerner,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC,
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required,
• Critical care experience required,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start,

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients,
• Scrubs must be any solid color,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility,
• Local candidates will not be considered,
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week,
• Previous CHS facility perm staff employment within the past 2 years disqualifies candidates from consideration
