We're looking for full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Nazareth, PA area. Candidates with active state safety inspection licenses will be awarded a one-time $250 bonus payment AND an immediate $0.50/hour pay increase. As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles, including brakes, struts, and shocks. Automotive Mechanics also complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.HOW DO I KNOW IF A CAREER WITH MAVIS IS RIGHT FOR ME?You'd be a great fit for the Automotive Mechanic position if you:like paid training and using proven processes;are motivated by commissions/incentive compensation;value dependability, punctuality and teamwork;love working in a fast-paced, positive, safe, state-of-the-art environment;care about meeting customer-promised delivery times and providing quality service; and,want to work for a growing company that promotes from within.To be eligible for the Automotive Mechanic position you must:be at least 18 years of age;be legally authorized to work in the United States;possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position; and,be able to work 5 days each week.We consider it an added bonus if you:have an active state safety license(s); and/or,are ASE-certified in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).This is an active position. Automotive Mechanics are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair.
