StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $2134.00 - $2310.00

This facility is seeking two Neurologist Physicians for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-hour coverage, 7 days on/7 days off. Friday 6:00 PM through the following Friday 6:00 PM. Onsite coverage from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM daily with after-hours call coverage and a response time of less than 15 minutes for acute stroke coverage.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital setting
• Type of cases and required procedures: Neurology consults, Acute stroke activations (in-person response required), New Emergency Department and hospitalist consults, Evaluation and management of acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, and other neurologic emergencies
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Board Certification in Neurology (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology)
• Licensure required: Active California license
