Responsible for taking on a variety of administrative and operations tasks that support foundation operations and allow for the successful achievement of the foundation's mission and strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Performs activities that support operations which may include some processing and reconciling of gifts in Raiser's Edge database, maintaining donor and constituent records, assisting with planning and coordinating fundraising events.
- Gift processing
- Writes and edits business correspondence to donors, prospects or vendors.
- Assists in updating foundation material.
- Provides research and administrative support to the Philanthropy team.
- Responsible for managing department mailings.
- Performs other administrative tasks such as such as answering the phone, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, typing, filing, copying, ordering office supplies and equipment supplies to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
- May assist with spreadsheets, database input and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Performs other related duties as required and directed.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma.
- Three years' experience working in administrative support role.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, advertising or related field.
