Quality Sorter

What you’ll be doing: QA Sorter Performs sorting inspections, either manually or through the use of inspection equipment as assigned. Support general quality inspection process. Quality Sorting is a manufacturing environment and maintains good housekeeping practices for a clean workplace. Identify defective material and/or product with assistance if needed. Make decisions as to acceptability of appearance and performance with assistance if necessary. May be assigned to perform specialized sorts to determine conformance to specific specifications. May assist with counting and packing of product. Responsible for general housekeeping of work area. Maintains safe working conditions and conducts oneself in a way that does not endanger oneself or fellow employees. Responsible to keep supervisor informed of work‑related problems and the progress of work assignments. Additional Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to hold parts and gauges with both hands. Must be able to lift up to 1 lb. at a time with both hands. May be required to lift up to 40 lbs. maximum assistance will be provided if needed.
