This position will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. They provide day-to-day electrical and mechanical support for large industrial machines. This includes performing scheduled Preventative Maintenance, responding to down equipment by troubleshooting and making necessary repairs and completing scheduled workorders.Primary responsibilities include:Troubleshoot and maintain the electrical-mechanical machines in manufacturing facilityPerform changeover activities on large mechanical equipmentCoordinate and work with other technicians in the daily support of serving and repairing manufacturing equipmentDocuments actions, parts, and time usage to work ordersIdentifies, advises, and implements safety improvementsAbility to learn production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation supportPerforms basic troubleshooting for electrical problems with single phase and 3 phase motors, wiring and controlsDecipher information from equipment manuals and schematics to troubleshoot various types of equipment malfunctions.Perform evaluations of new technologies with potential application as a new process or as a modification to existing equipment.Assist engineers, production managers, and technologists and lead in assessing the impact of equipment malfunction.The ideal candidate should possess the following:2-5 years of experience high speed manufacturing equipment.Ability to learn production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation supportAbility to speak, read, and write in English to communicate and interact effectively with associates at all levels.Must have basic computer and math skillsKnowledge of basic Lean principles such as 5S, TPM, Root Cause Analysis is highly desiredWhat We Offer YouCompetitive base salary and bonus opportunitiesPaid time off (three-week minimum)Medical, dental and vision starting day one401(k) with employer matchPaid parental leaveChild and family care assistance (dependent care FSA with employer match up to $2500)Bundle of joy benefit (years' worth of free diapers to all team members with a new baby)Tuition assistanceWellness program with savings of up to $4,000 per year on insurance premiums...and more!First Quality is committed to protecting information under the care of First Quality Enterprises commensurate with leading industry standards and applicable regulations.
