Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for supervising the property's complete maintenance and routine processes to make it fully functional, enjoyable, and safe. Responsibilities:

Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations
Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues
Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans
Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade

Respond to all Guest assistance requests in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner

Qualifications:

You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software
Valid driver’s license and good driving record required

The Embassy Suites Newark-Wilmington/South is conveniently located near the I-95 motorway, which provides easy access to popular area sites such as Delaware Park Racetrack and Casino.
