MDM Informatica Business Analyst

Location - Remote Visa - US Citizen Core Responsibilities Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Translate complex business processes and data needs into functional specifications, user stories, and data mapping documents for Informatica MDM implementations.

Data Governance & Quality: Define data stewardship workflows, business rules for matching and merging, and data quality standards to eliminate fragmented or duplicate records.

Domain Modeling Support: Work closely with data architects to design base objects, reference data, and business entity views.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the liaison between business units (e.g., sales, supply chain, finance) and IT/technical teams managing source systems like SAP, Salesforce, or PLM platforms.

Testing & Validation: Lead functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data lineage validation to verify that golden records and cross-reference tables behave as expected.

Key Skills & Qualifications Domain & Tool Knowledge: Deep understanding of MDM principles, data lifecycles, and hands-on familiarity with Informatica MDM Solutions.

Technical Literacy: Proficiency in SQL for data profiling and analysis, alongside experience with workflow/agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

Business Analysis Foundations: Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, stakeholder management, and requirement elicitation.

Education & Certifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3 5+ years of relevant BA experience (certifications in Informatica or Data Governance are a strong plus).
