Now Hiring: Part-Time Cook (Memory Care Community)

Amber Grove @ Savannah Seasons is seeking dependable, compassionate Full-time and Part-Time Cook to join our team in a warm and supportive memory care community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing nutritious meals while making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors living with memory loss.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook daily meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary guidelines
• Accommodate special dietary needs and texture modifications (e.g., pureed, low-sodium, diabetic-friendly)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with meal service and ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents
• Collaborate with care staff to support residents’ individual needs and preferences

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen (healthcare or senior living preferred)
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Compassionate attitude and respect for seniors, especially those with cognitive impairments

Schedule:

• Full-time and Part-time hours (flexible scheduling; weekends and holidays may be required)
