Clinical Laboratory Technician
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technician in Bristol, Tennessee to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures, operate instrumentation, and ensure specimen quality for diagnostic testing. Monday–Friday schedule, 10:00 am–8:30 pm with every third weekend.
Responsibilities
- Assess specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex laboratory procedures
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation for proper functionality
- Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
- Document preventative maintenance and report accurate, timely test results
- Maintain safe work environment and assist with specimen processing as needed
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Chemical, Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred
- 3 months or more clinical laboratory testing experience preferred
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
