Outpatient Physical Therapist

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This position emphasizes the creation of functional treatment programs that allow for effective return to community activities while maintaining safety and compliance with the organization's standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and development of learning objectives.
• Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintained licensure in good standing with the state regulatory agency.

Schedule

This is a 5x8 schedule contract position. Specific shift details to be determined.
