Fund Accounting Supervisor, Alternative Investments

Job Title: Alternative Investments Fund Accountant Supervisor Location: Hybrid (Potential for Remote due to location) Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 base + $5,000 incentive compensation Job Description Our client, a leading financial services and investment operations company, is looking to hire a Supervisor, Alternative Investment Funds in Oaks, PA . Responsibilities Oversee fund accounting activities for alternative investment funds, including hedge funds and private equity funds. Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for fund holdings using various external pricing resources. Perform NAV and other account reconciliations and prepare accurate accounting reports and client deliverables. Coordinate with internal teams and external investment managers regarding fund transactions, reconciliations, deliverables, and day-to-day inquiries. Support year-end audit engagements and ensure fund records comply with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Review the work of fund accounting analysts to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of deliverables. Train and supervise accounting analysts on systems, processes, procedures, and job responsibilities. Assist with monthly one-on-ones, performance reviews, career development, and team training. Participate in the interviewing and onboarding of new team members. Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and overall team efficiency. Provide a high level of client service while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered. Minimum 2 years of experience in the fund services industry , with alternative investment experience preferred. Experience with fund accounting, reconciliations, NAV calculations, and financial reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple client deliverables and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy. Previous experience training, reviewing, or supervising junior team members is preferred. Strong client service and relationship management skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
