Job Opening: Girls Mentorship Program Manager

Youth With A Purpose (YWAP) is excited to announce a part-time job opening for a Girls Mentorship Program Manager. This position is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of young women through structured support and mentorship. The Girls Mentorship Program Manager will play a pivotal role in steering our after-school performing arts-based program, designed exclusively for girls. Be advised, this is not a remote job and requires the manager to be physically present for effective program execution and interaction.

• Lead with promoting the after-school program to increase participation and engagement.
• Coordinate fun and educational community events that align with our program’s goals.
• Educate youth on various life skills including conflict resolution, decision-making, and effective communication.
• Provide consistent mentorship, helping children and adolescents set and achieve personal goals.
• Support the development of social skills through structured activities and open discussions.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community organizations to ensure a comprehensive support system for each participant.
• Address and manage behavioral health concerns by implementing proactive strategies to promote emotional stability and growth.
• Maintain meticulous records of program activities, participant progress, and other relevant data to assess the effectiveness of the mentorship.

• Adept in managing and delivering performing arts content, with experience in dance, acting, music, art, or theater arts.
• Proven experience in working with children or adolescents in various settings such as childcare, educational programs, or mentoring environments.
• Familiarity with conflict management techniques and ability to resolve disputes among youth effectively.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is considered an advantageous qualification.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to quickly build and maintain rapport with young individuals.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy.
