Administrative Specialist I (S)

Salary Range: $39,244 - $68,679

This position is located at Pamlico Correctional, Bayboro, NC. Pamlico Correctional is a medium custody prison housing male offenders. Pamlico Correctional serves as the hub for healthcare for the male offenders population. The facility is designed to house a maximum capacity of 732 offenders. This position requires general knowledge of medical office practices and procedures to review, verify, complete, record, and/or balance records, reports, and figures. The Medical Records Assistant reports to the Nurse Supervisor. Positions at this level perform comprehensive, complex professional-level nursing work in providing primary preventative, and rehabilitative care to individuals and families in a variety of settings, including public health.

Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

• Documented experience performing administrative functions in an office setting.
• Demonstrated experience in organization, retention, review and filing of records.
