TELECOMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Job TitleCOMSEC SpecialistJob DescriptionYou will execute processes and procedures, based on DON and MSC policy, for the delivery, handling, operation, accountability, and disposition of COMSEC material.You will interpret COMSEC guidance and advise Local Elements on the proper handling, maintenance and operation of assigned COMSEC equipment.You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on secure communication system operation and maintenance.You will execute Life Cycle Management (LCM) requirements for assigned Local Elements, which is comprised of configuration management, firmware upgrades, and software updates for assigned COMSEC equipment.You will develop and present formal briefings and status reports to Commanding Officers, Officers-in-Charge (OIC), and Senior Leadership.You will assess the effectiveness of current processes and procedures for the maintenance and operation of secure communication systems.You will interact with customers to determine cost effective and efficient means of supporting COMSEC management requirements.You will administer COMSEC resources in support of MSC Fleet and Shore Component operations.
