Position Responsibilities:Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data-driven questions and conduct experiments for product and service enhancementsEngineering and refining algorithms, software, and automated processes for robust data integration and cleansing from multiple sourcesDesigning and building data pipelines and structures that ingest, standardize, and transform logs and business data into warehouse tables and data feedsCreate data architectures that effectively manage data ingestion, processing and storage at scaleEnsuring data quality and integration throughout the pipeline (CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting failures)Ensure efficient and optimized use of compute/storage throughout model pipelines among all team membersDeveloping systems to detect and remediate security and code vulnerabilitiesWorking independently and as part of a broader team across multiple projectsDesired Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research required; Master’s or PhD a plusAt least 7 years of experience in data engineering, including experience using large datasetsExperience using AWS, Databricks and Snowflake technologies highly preferred.
