Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting OSINT Analyst. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret‑SCI clearance is required. Location: Quantico, Virginia, United States. This is an on‑site, full‑time position that may require occasional local travel within the U.S. and occasional telework based on government needs. Responsibilities Provide mid‑level analytic expertise to DCSA OSINT Analysis, reviewing submitted packages to ensure they meet basic submission requirements and supporting customers in remedying package errors or addressing status questions. Produce Research and Intelligence Reports (RIRs) through all‑source research using public, private, and U.S. and foreign government open‑source materials, evaluating facts against established DCSA risk indicators. Assess foreign and domestic publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights for defense intelligence requirements. Operate within the IS Entity Vetting (EV) mission areas—Verification and Triage Unit (VTU), Due Diligence Unit (DDU), and Risk Management Unit (RMU)—producing timely, relevant, and actionable triage, business, and security‑centric due diligence research, reporting, analysis, and risk management products. Support the Threat Integration Branch (TIB) by providing timely threat reports that enable EV decision‑makers to determine prudent actions. Conduct analytical research establishing threats to U.S. technologies, information, and supply chains impacting cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA. Process, update, and track cases, actions, products, and reviews in the system of record and other databases. Research, synthesize, exploit, evaluate, and analyze all‑source reporting on U.S. government critical technologies, programs, information, and supply chains. Perform all‑source, business, security, and intelligence‑related research using commercial subscription tools (e.g., Bloomberg), open‑source research, government databases, and intelligence reporting aimed at U.S. and foreign companies and affiliated parties. Develop analytical products that effectively articulate threats and adhere to applicable IC Directives and DoD Instructions. Produce analytic products within established timelines and disseminate intelligence information to customers and stakeholders. Work effectively both independently and with teams, with some positions requiring local U.S. travel. Requirements Active TS‑SCI Clearance required. Desired Experience: At least 8 years of experience conducting relevant analysis, with at least a portion within the last 2 years. Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Minimum 8 years of experience in: Applying data analysis, trend analysis, and problem‑solving techniques. Identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommending solutions. Communicating intelligence information verbally and in writing. Conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, including preparing written reports, leading conferences, and giving briefings. Conducting research effectively and efficiently at classified and unclassified levels (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office Tools). Knowledgeable in data manipulation within databases and Microsoft software packages. Superior oral and written communication skills, with a good command of the English language. High proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills. May be required to lift general office items (20–30 lbs). Expected in‑office work five days a week with occasional telework based on government needs. U.S. driver’s license and ability to operate government vehicles. Preferred DCSA and DoD work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands This is an in‑office position with no unusual hazards. Physical requirements include occasional lifting up to 20–30 lbs, constant sitting while using a computer, use of sight and speech/hearing abilities for document review and communication, and constant mental alertness. Planning, organizing skills, and the ability to work under deadlines are essential. Compensation Details Salary range: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 (subject to variation based on job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws).
