Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Public Affairs Planning Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description Develop strategic communications plans and supporting materials. Draft Public Affairs Guidance (PAG), talking points, and comprehensive communications plans. Develop and coordinate OPLANS, FRAGOs, PLANORDs, EXORDs, and COMPLANs. Coordinate and submit requirements through the Task Management System (TMS). Support FOIA and DOPSR review processes. Provide exercise planning support for IPC, MPC, and FPC conferences. Coordinate across multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and concurrent projects. Support high-tempo and crisis-response activities, including non-standard work hours as needed. Position Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have a valid driver's license and passport. Knowledge of U.S. military structure, culture, and terminology required. Experience with strategic and operational planning processes, including OPLANS, FRAGOs, PLANORDs, EXORDs, and COMPLANs. Experience supporting or leading planning for large-scale exercises, international events, or contingency scenarios strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint. Ability to access and participate in TS/SCI classified network environments and meetings. Skills & Qualifications Seasoned strategic advisor who is comfortable influencing outcomes at the executive level. Polished communicator with the ability to develop concise executive-level inputs as well as detailed, multi-page planning documents. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision. Ability to quickly build trust and credibility with senior leaders, international partners, and interagency stakeholders. Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional coordination skills.
