Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing and managing the complete fixed assets cycle, including acquisitions, depreciation, disposals, and retirements.
2. Maintaining the general ledger and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
3. Preparing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
4. Developing and maintaining routers and bills of material.
5. Managing inventory, including tracking, valuation, and physical count reconciliation.
6. Utilizing JD Edwards (JDE) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for various accounting functions.
7. Implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
8. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and analyzing financial variances.
9. Collaborating with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.
10. Participating in special projects and performing other duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP system.
4. Solid understanding of GAAP and experience in preparing financial statements.
5. Experience in inventory management and understanding of routers and bills of material.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain high levels of accuracy.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel..
