Quality Engineer | Aerospace

Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
This position will primarily support one Value Stream.
The candidate will be responsible for quality engineering, system and process improvements, supplier development and RCCA activity including non-conformance analysis and implementation of effective countermeasures.
This candidate will lead quality functions for assigned programs from proposal through shipment to customer while complying with customer requirements and achieving cost and delivery expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Masters degree in relevant engineering discipline
2-10 years of relevant Quality and/or manufacturing engineering experience.
Experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement and strong problem-solving skills.
Interfacing with customers and suppliers concerning product quality.
Interpreting customer specifications and then designing and implementing an effective quality program.
ISO 9000/AS 9100 quality systems.
Production floor experience, defect reduction, and process improvement.
Experience in root cause/corrective and preventative action and the ability to lead project teams and customers through the analysis.
