Requirements

• Required certification: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of direct experience required; 2+ years preferred with minimum 1 year in similar role within active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP labs 2. Cases: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, embolizations 3. Certifications: ARRT Certification, IEMA Licensure, BLS through American Heart Association, ACLS through American Heart Association within 6 months of hire; must be through AHA 4. License: Illinois license in hand required; emergency and pending licenses not accepted 5. Education: Graduate of accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences; BSN required for Northwestern Memorial Hospital, ASN or BSN accepted at other facilities; Bachelor of Science Degree preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: On call required, rotate with current staff; 13.5 hour weekday call, 30 minute response time; weekend requirement 8. RTO: All time off must be included at submission; cannot be added after submittal; two pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Northwestern Medicine employment history must be included if applicable 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11. Background: Not specified 12.
