Job Responsibilities The BAS Installer/Electrician (low voltage) will assist with installing conduit, pulling wire, mounting devices, and supporting lead installers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Responsible to support a Building Automation System (BAS) installation including mounting of control components, conduit and wiring, and terminations. Key Responsibilities Plan installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and be consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. Pull wiring through conduit and label. Ensure that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring. Locate, mount, and terminate BAS end devices such as temperature sensors, relays and electronic actuators. Prepare sketches showing as‑built location of wiring and equipment. Attend project meetings as necessary. Ability to work overtime, varied shift hours and occasional travel as needed. Effectively read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisor and crew members. Work independently and as a team member. Work with other trades to coordinate work on the job site. Qualifications HS Diploma and/or 1-2 years of experience. Meets SWECS minimum eligibility requirements and can read, analyze and interpret complex documents and/or blueprints. Has access to reliable transportation - driver’s license. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred. Follow instruction, work without supervision, operate tools safely, maintain company‑assigned vehicle and understand the importance of OSHA safety regulations.
