Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in Albany, New York. This full-time position involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients of all ages with pulmonary (breathing) disorders in an acute care hospital setting. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The role requires working three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Albany, NY
• Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) per week
• Schedule: Includes three 12-hour holiday shifts per season (the night before and the night of the holiday count as holiday shifts); every other weekend
• Required Qualifications: Associates Degree (or higher) in Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care, active NYS Respiratory Therapist license, active NBRC credential, and 3+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care hospital including Emergency Department (ED) and adult critical care; 1+ year experience working in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) preferred
• Additional Information: Candidates will be responsible for airway management, performing diagnostic tests, utilizing cardiopulmonary equipment, and providing extensive health education. Responsibilities include assessment, administering medications and treatments, airway management, and emergency lifesupport procedures.
