We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our communities and equipment. This energetic role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, experience with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, refrigeration, and appliance repair. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment while delivering exceptional service to internal teams and customers alike. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly every day.

Duties

• Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, kitchen appliances, and other facility machinery to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime
• Perform appliance installation, repair, and servicing for various types of appliances including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions; repair or replace faulty components with precision
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections conducted
• Assist with construction projects or facility upgrades as needed to improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills and familiarity with HVAC & appliance technology
• Knowledge of schematics for electrical wiring, plumbing diagrams, HVAC systems, and mechanical layouts
• Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems is essential
• Mechanical knowledge spanning mechanical systems repair, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and effectively; experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) is preferred
• Construction experience or familiarity with building or repairing infrastructure is a must
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients during service calls
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly
• Reliable transportation is necessary, ideally owning a truck to move equipment or tools
