We also source, negotiate, and manage the firm's data assets, building a unified foundation that supports our investment professionals and the firm's growing data and AI ambitions.What you'll doYou will help identify and bring differentiated data and research sources into Point72’s investment research process, partnering with investment professionals, research colleagues, Compliance, and external providers. Specifically, you will:Shape the data sourcing strategy to help investment teams access differentiated, compliant research inputs that can inform investment decision-makingResearch alternative data ecosystems and market trends to identify new sources of insight for internal research consumersEvaluate prospective data and research providers by assessing content quality, relevance, usability, and fit with investment team needsManage relationships with external data and research providers, including service changes, ongoing engagement, and awareness of market developmentsNegotiate business terms and pricing with content providers while coordinating internal alignment on scope and valueCoordinate onboarding for new data and research sources by gathering requirements, managing approvals, and driving timely implementationPartner with Compliance to evaluate new providers, monitor existing relationships, and support appropriate use of servicesBuild trusted relationships with investment teams by responding to requests, answering questions, and connecting teams with relevant research resourcesGuide team members and help develop consistent processes across provider management activitiesWhat's required2-4 years of experience in alternative data, financial services, or a closely related data-focused research environmentBachelor’s degree with strong academic performanceExperience negotiating contracts, pricing, and business terms with external providers or partnersUnderstanding of data sourcing, provider evaluation, and research partnership management within an investment or research contextProficiency with Excel for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data, provider information, and workflow detailsStrong verbal and written communication skills for engaging investment professionals, research colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external partnersHigh attention to detail, strong quality standards, and ability to manage sensitive processes accuratelyStrong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting prioritiesEmerging leadership skills, including the ability to guide team members and collaborate effectively across multiple teamsCommitment to the highest ethical standardsWe take care of our peopleWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being. For more information, visit .The annual base salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
