Job Title: Back-of-House Steward / Dishwasher

Role Type: Part-Time / Student-Friendly
Compensation: $17.00/hour
Location: 814 Ilaniwai St 1st floor, Honolulu, HI 96813

Preferred applicant distance: 10-20 miles for a safe and comfortable commute.

We treat our kitchen like a family. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working student to join our back-of-house team as a Dishwasher / Steward. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Keep it Clean: Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, and heavy cookware using our commercial dishwasher and 3-compartment sinks.
• Support the Line: Ensure clean plates, prep bowls, and tools are always stocked and ready for the line cooks.
• Maintain the Space: Sweep and mop kitchen floors, clear trash/recycling, and keep the dish pit safe, dry, and organized.
• Kōkua Where Needed: Lend a hand with basic kitchen prep work or unloading supply deliveries when the team needs an extra pair of hands.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

• Reliability: You show up on time, ready to support the team. Communicate regularly.
• Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift, move quickly in a fast-paced environment, and safely lift up to 40–50 lbs (i.e, crates of dishes or ice).
• Communication: Great listening skills and a cooperative, team-first attitude.
• No experience? No problem! We are happy to train anyone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn kitchen operations.
